Who KidWeekend is for

KidWeekend accounts are for parents and guardians. We do not offer accounts to children, and we never ask a child to sign up, sign in, or contact us.

The minimum we collect

To send you a useful Friday brief we store: your email address; the city or ZIP code you give us (never your exact home address); and, for each child, an optional nickname and an age — never a full name, never a birthdate, never a school. Profiles also keep your chosen interests, search radius, language, and timezone so the brief fits your family and arrives on your Friday morning. We also keep basic usage records — which events you view, save, or add to your calendar, records of the emails we send you, and any feedback you send us — so the service runs reliably and keeps improving.

What we do with it

Your information is used to build your brief, send the emails you asked for, and run the service (for example, remembering which events you saved). We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Event data

Event listings come from public calendars published by libraries, city and county departments, museums, and other established local institutions. Listings link back to the official event page; any registration or payment happens with the venue, never with KidWeekend.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your profiles at any time from the Profiles page, turn the Friday brief email off in My Account, and ask us to delete your account and its data entirely through the Feedback page. Deleting a profile deletes its saved events with it.

Children's privacy

KidWeekend is designed so that no personal information about a child is ever collected: an age and an optional nickname, chosen by the parent, are all a profile holds. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us through the Feedback page and we will remove it.
